Each Space Key contains a block composed of a carbon-fire composite material. It was sent to the International Space Station as part of a research project for 2019. After returning to Earth, it was stamped with the QR code which links it to the digital component of the Space Key.
Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that takes place at different times as the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. Over 600 million pixels make each of the five images, which were shot by photographer Fabian Oefner.
Oefner used an inflatable camera equipped with lenses to capture the individual images, which were later put together into the final image. The result is an out-of-this world image that reveals the beauty of the Earth and the futuristic, hyper-realistic view of the car rising away from it. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned in the near future, however there is no specific date or location as of yet.
